*The number of members nominated by the President in Rajya Sabha - 12
Note - According to article 80, president may nominate 12 persons belonging to the area of literature, science, art and social services.
*The idea of India as Welfare State is found in - Preamble of the Constitution and Directive Principles of State Policy.
*Directive Principles of State Policy are - Non-justiciable.
Note - It means they are not enforceable in any Court of law in India.
*In case the post of the President of India falls vacant due to his death, resignation removal from office,who will occupy that post - Vice president
Note- Article 65(1) facilitates this.
*If a money bill is accepted in Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha can withhold it maximum upto - 14 days
